No More Room in Hell 2 Maps — Every Map and What's Coming

No More Room in Hell 2 maps: Lewiston, Pottsville and Raven Rock — objective styles, community tier list and the new scenarios announced for Autumn 2026.

The maps of No More Room in Hell 2

No More Room in Hell 2 runs its missions across a set of large, dark, neighborhood-and-town style maps where you scavenge, complete objectives and extract. The maps confirmed across official posts and community documentation include:

  • Lewiston
  • Pottsville
  • Raven Rock

What each map plays like

From community runs and guides: Pottsville missions (as seen in Nightmare-difficulty solo playthroughs) chain objectives like searching houses for survivors, repairing transformers, finding fuses, tuning a radio, collecting research drives and water samples, and calling extraction from a community center. Raven Rock is repeatedly called out as a tight map — the kind of layout where semi-auto shotguns like the X12 Super shine. Lewiston is the map getting fresh objective work in the post-launch updates.

A community map tier list on r/nmrih ("I made a tier list for NMRIH 2's maps") is the live community opinion tracker, and the Fandom wiki's Maps page documents map specifics. One criticism reviewers raise: some objectives repeat within a mission (progress-bar holds, repeated searches), which is most noticeable when you learn each map's flow.

New map content announced for Autumn 2026

Torn Banner's "Beyond Armageddon" dev blog (August 20, 2026) laid out map plans in the September update:

  • Additional objective permutations for Lewiston — deepening the existing map with new objective flows.
  • A brand new scenario for Pottsville — "a new objective flow that completely turns the map on its head."

The blog also noted future Survival-mode environments beyond the current Objective maps, with more to show later.

Map tips from the community

A few map-specific lessons from the Knight Knowledge beginner guide: zeds can now climb onto cars (so car tops are a reprieve, not a safe spot), but certain objects still can't be climbed — use them to draw horde aggro while teammates handle objectives. Kicking down weak white and barricaded doors works, but blue or barred doors won't break. Press C for the compass pointing to your objective if you lose the thread.
