No More Room in Hell 2 on PS5 — Console Release
No More Room in Hell 2 on PlayStation 5: PS Store listing, the console launch moment, controller improvements and how crossplay fits in.
No More Room in Hell 2 on PlayStation 5
No More Room in Hell 2 is on PlayStation 5 — the console version arrived in the 1.0 launch window (August 2026), after the PC original ran through Early Access. The game is listed on the PlayStation Store as concept 10019078 (store.playstation.com, en-US).
The console launch moment
Console players joined the same co-op ecosystem as PC — and the community marked it immediately. The r/nmrih thread "No more room in hell 2 just dropped on PS5 and I had..." captured launch impressions, while review coverage framed it as the moment the game was "FINALLY On Consoles." Torn Banner's own "Beyond Armageddon" blog confirmed the scale: 500,000 players joined from the 1.0 launch onwards "on PC and consoles" (of 1,000,000+ total since Early Access).
Controller improvements for PS5 players
The post-launch roadmap treats console input as a priority. The September update (per the "Beyond Armageddon" blog) delivers:
- Controller deadzone improvements
- Updated and improved UI menu navigation
And the launch-week hotfix line already added controller access to the scoreboard and individual player muting — the kind of lobby-management features console lobbies rely on.
What PS5 players get
The same core game as PC: 8-player co-op objectives across Lewiston, Pottsville and Raven Rock, the Survival horde-defense mode, permadeath with rescue beacons, infection mechanics, and the full 2026 roadmap (new attachments, gameplay items, Responder Retirement and Hell Mode later in the year — see the roadmap page).
